Methods: This study was conducted in the department of human anatomy and cell biology, faculty of basic medical sciences, Delta state university Abraka using the simple random sampling technique.

Results: The result showed that the pyramidalis was seen in 7(70.0%) of the cadavers and absent in 3(30.0%). The morphometry of pyramidalis also varies with its incidence.
